Proverbs 5:15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, And running waters out of thine own well. 16 Should thy springs be dispersed abroad, And streams of water in the streets? 17 Let them be for thyself alone, And not for strangers with thee. 18 Let thy fountain be blessed; And rejoice in the wife of thy youth. 19 [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love. 20 For why shouldest thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a foreigner? 21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah; And he maketh level all his paths. 22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sin. 23 He shall die for lack of instruction; And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Matthew 10:34 Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law'; 36 and 'a man's enemies will be those of his own household. 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

1978
12 years old

When twelve years old, during lunch recess at school, I stood on the grass facing about 30 ft away from a very large old sycamore tree. The tree's trunk was about three to four feet in diameter. I recollected from observing the world, my older brother, and his friends were forever after the quest of having sexual relations. I began to visualized within my mind for a brief moment, right of the large tree, as if a youthful couple, floating about three feet in the air. I perceived both were a virgin, male and female, when had sexual intercourse unknowingly to others. Feeling at first discomfort, then immediately a sense of ease, comfort came over me, God had naturally joined them together. God had bound them in a lifetime marriage.
Then raced through my mind, thoughts of another person who isn’t a virgin, due to had sexual intercourse with one or more that were already in their own lifetime marriages from having sexual intercourse unknowingly to others. The person who's no longer a virgin, can’t be bound to someone who's already in a lifetime marriage, is free to take one who isn’t in a lifetime marriage. For their own lifetime marriage. Perceiving lifetime marriages can’t be dissolved by sex with another, but only by physical death.

I then imagined a man who left his lifetime marriage that was unknown to others, and takes another of someone else’s lifetime marriage. I sense discomfort that he is proud, God sees all things, will hold him accountable.

Next I perceived lifetime marriages, even when occurred unknown to others, when the male and female were equally virgins, has a lasting remembrance of given to each other their virginity. Supplies the greatest potential of devotion for each other for a lifetime, for the greatest potential of contentment, peace and tranquility for the largest number of people in the world.

In contrast, perceived the existing mentality in the world and in the Catholic church when particularly two virgins, male and female, had sexual intercourse unknown to others, if the relationship broke off, was regarded as either not a big deal by the world or called a sin (fornication), by the Catholic teaching. To conveniently leave each other, even in error thinking they're doing the will of God in leaving each other. Perceived the mentality of the world and the Catholic doctrine was the underlying reason for the great chaos happening in the world. I didn’t linger on especially the latter visual, less I be tempted and fall into such situations. Made it the more difficult at times to recall them, and because it was part visual within and immediate perceiving, was besides difficult to ever express them.

I then looked toward the left side, immediately behind the sycamore tree, at the narrow sidewalk, beside a separate two story dark brick building, a convent for nuns. I pictured in my mind, a couple among others on the narrow sidewalk in their marriages like my parents. Thinking, there were some differences between my parent’s relationship lasting, compared to this generation’s relationships failing.
Then I stood to the right of the large sycamore tree, where I imagined the couple was floating in a lifetime marriage by God. I looked toward a few feet, where the narrow sidewalk became broader, parallel up to the multiple steel closed emergency windowless doors, the back side of a smaller section of the school. I focused on the doors, where immediately inside, about ten feet, the door to the girl’s bathroom and immediately to the left the door to the boy’s bathroom. The emergency doors were forbidden to open to walk outside, only few dared to open. I sensed a strange feeling as if it was staged around me, perhaps by God, some kind of meaning to the doors, that were only to be open for emergencies. In later years the meaning came to me, that many lives, there sexual past, must be open, talked about to find if they are married in God's eyes, to someone in their past.

Hello, My name is John Nowak, fast forward to 2010. Since this seems to be the primary theme "Jesus Marriage Proclamation", for those who are at christjustified.com, through out the following articles listed in the left column and I had planned the first 2 discourses below, to be at the beginning of my book, I think it proper to express some thoughts, to help your reading. There are two primary questions, that sum up my life and quest.
  • When is a marriage to God?

  • How long does a marriage last to God?

At 12 years old, through a visual and immediate perceiving, I came to a conclusion and tried to live my life accordingly. If you continue to read my life history, you will see I had many struggles, tribulations, doubts along the way. I began reading the bible at 18, trying to fine the answers. I began writing down about seven years ago, the observations I found, slowly trying to piece together the evidences. While knowledgeable of other renderings, interpretations, prevalent among different groups, and seemingly the non-denominational churches of Christ I attend.

As for the non-denominational churches, some observations. I live in the north east, having very few churches of Christ. Where I notice are seemingly influence by the more liberal social culture here, would not readily give me a fair reading of the situation among the over 13,000 churches of Christ spread across the united states, particularly the south. My best guess, that the main body of churches of Christ will perhaps more be on the side of the usual understanding, that marriage begins at vows, and committing adultery, frees an innocent partner to marry another. However I hear of pockets among non-denominational churches of Christ would not stand by these, particularly the latter, not teaching one is free to marry another. Perhaps there are more then just pockets, being I am not in the south, I cannot tell for sure. There are individualists, among the congregations, because they may attend a congregation, that teaches the seemingly usual, don't mean, they can't have there own understanding, disagreeable with the congregation they attend. There are many who married, both being virgins, and never really carefully considered, through scripture, the topic, being they weren't as confronted with such a situation. Then there are some on the churches of Christ single site, where I seemingly persuaded, where they made the necessary changes in their lives and marriage plans. Some saying if they had this information earlier in life they would of lived their life diferently. As a side note, I observed some statistical data a while ago, that showed many members are holding up marriage, in not divorcing as much, as compared to other types, forms of so called christian groups. Even so, I do sense that as time proceeds, the influences of the government unconstitutionally promoted psychology based culture has and will encroach, evade more upon the churches of Christ. This is another reason why I believe this article is perhaps timely, to restore and to fight off the encroachment, and perhaps the discourses particularly 1 & 2 and some 3, will become the definitive reasoning, by the evidences in the bible alone, the answers to the two above questions for many peoples, nations. That if someday accepted in more churches and the Government to nudge citizens to apply to their lives, will eventually usher in a time of peace, harmony and tranquility, the world had perhaps never before witness. As for the transition period, I cannot say what will occur, perhaps there need to be some prudent steps made.
For today June 22, 2010, there is the extreme violence, innocent shed blood in so called abortion, of over 50,000,000 premeditated murdered babies on the hands of many a citizenry. The end result of the centuries, beginning from religious false teaching, marriages begins at vows, among denominations, even to so far influencing independent religious groups, combined with the more recent sixties, where a predominant factor was government unconstitutional promoted psychology, philosophy in the many government universities across the land, caused much of the growth in the ranks of the so called free love generation, destroying people's lives, both in their daily lives and literally.
Why has seemingly God chosen me? Or perhaps the question may be, how has God prepared me? I wonder, perhaps some of the same reason he chosen, prepared Paul, being he was a Pharisee, who God prepared him in the intimate knowledge of the the pharisee doctrine and reasoning, which would become his greatest enemy.
I attended and observed the manifestations of people in three Catholic schools, in my city, by the age of 12, observed Catholic families and Catholic friends. Attended three public schools, kindergarten and then 9 to 12 grade, witnessing seemingly non religious friends. Then attended and observed the nondenominational churches of Christ for 26 years.
My life story are real events, actual occurrences, not fictitious, and I taken great lengths not to add or subtract from them.

God Bless
John Jerome Nowak

Statement

"Jesus proclaimed marriage occurs at only one moment "One Flesh" mutual consented sexual intercourse, known to others or even unknown to others (by implication shown in Genesis, Moses law and by Jesus). Consequently the imaginations of man, his imagined precepts, his traditions, thinking marriage begins at a vow, oath, ceremony, certificate, saying I do, and imagining a covenant (so to be conveniently imagine broken when desired), are all in dire error. The word, statements in Genesis, Moses law and particularly Jesus' word, terminology, “One Flesh” and “Let Not Man Separate” bounds the moment marriage occurs, known or even unknown to others, and it's permanency."

John Jerome Nowak

Discourse I

Five Spirits

(mental dispositions, psychologies)
of
Jesus

To understand Jesus' spirit (mental dispositions, particular thinking, mind makeup), we must imagine ourselves living, have the same thinking, mindsets as two thousand years ago. The five statements below are the key spiritual discernment's of Jesus.

  1. Jesus point's out husbands when put away their wives not for fornication, causes (due to her dire hardship, could not provide for herself) her to commit adultery and who ever marries her in this state also commits adultery.
  2. Jesus begins another discourse with the terminology "one flesh", to describe when marriage occurs at the moment of mutual consenting sexual intercourse.
  3. Jesus says a second time "one flesh", to mean the two are seen by God as if a continual one body, one person, commands a primary teaching "let not man separate".
  4. Jesus will continue the spirit (mental disposition), one flesh, continual one body, one person, say when a husband puts away a wife not for fornication, not only causes his wife to commit adultery, in addition the husband commits adultery (be it indirectly) through his wife's body. For they are as a continual one flesh, one body, one person to God.
  5. Jesus across the board, removes form the table, marries another. Marries another, commits adultery.

Discourse II

Challenge
Marriage is a covenant
(is a tradition, myth of man)

Can you find a direct statement in the bible, stated marriage is a covenant? Can you find an indirect statement, marriage is a covenant? The answer is "NO".
  • Fact, you will not find a direct statement stated marriage is a covenant.
  • Indirect statements, you will find only supposed inferences of the most vague kind, that someone assumes, will not pass careful analysis.

Jesus Christ's primary teaching,

warns tradition becomes an obstacle to God's will.
Mark 7:6 Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. 7 But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men. 8 Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.

Mark: 7:13 making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.

I Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:
  • hypocrites
  • honoreth me with their lips
  • their heart is far from me
  • in vain do they worship me
  • the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God
  • He that taketh the wise in their craftiness
Holding on man's wisdom, tradition, myth, doctrines, the precepts of men, men have made void the word of God, especially them who think of themselves as religious. When man leans on his own wisdom, man thinks he can improve upon God's word, persuasion, draws away men to follow after man's persuasion, for men to fear and hold up as of God, man has failed miserably. One of the first primary principles of Jesus, is to do the will of God, is to trust in God's words, wisdom, reasoning, persuasion, that God is wiser then man's wisdom.

Careful Analysis

We will need to give careful analysis at the seemingly indirect statement, inference of the most vague kind, paraded out by many so called religious people, especially on web sites.  We must first read the previous verses to discern the spirit (mental disposition) behind the words.

Mal 2:8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts

Mal 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Mal 2: 11 Judah hath dealt treacherously , and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved , and hath married the daughter of a strange god. 12 The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar , out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts. 13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. 14 Yet ye say , Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously : yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away : for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously .

  • Mal 2:14 is trying to reason with Juduh to repent, reasoning to Judah, isn't she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant, meaning Judah has a covenant (the old covenant from his fathers) with God, and their woman are rightful wives belonging to the old covenant of the fathers. This is not infering there is a covenant made in a marriage ceremony.
  • Many see the word covenant, immediate give themselves over to a knee jerk face value assumption, instead of looking for the spirit (mental dispostion) behind the words. An inference of the most vague kind, without looking for supporting evidence in the surrounding verses, combined with not one example in the entire bible, where in a marriage ceremony is it ever speaks of a vow, oath, covenant involved. Not once. We find complete silence, a dead end, absolutely no biblical support. The silence is deafening, but still men persist as if they are speaking on behalf of God. Why? I imagine some due to ignorance and some described below.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God.
  • It is interesting to note the above verses is speaking of so called religious people, "the treachery to your woman of youth" which is a similar situation we have today. Many of religious and non religious, had became one flesh when in youth, their first time and their partner first time, unknown to others but due to so called religious influence and worldly influence, called it a sin (fornication) without biblical support, or called it a one night stand, either way (left the other), they done treachery to their woman or their man. Where in Jesus' day, when one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse) became known, they would of been recognized as one flesh (as one person, same person), not called a sin, never called once fornication, consequently, commanded by Moses Law, kept together for the rest of their days, showing by implication they are married. Confirmed and proclaimed by Jesus, stating at "one flesh" "let not man separate".

Genesis, Creation, Moses Law

The word of God is spiritual (logical consisting of many analogies, particular thinking, lines of thought, linked, thought by thought, author's intent behind the written words).
  • Beginning from Genesis, marriage in the minds of men, occurred at only one moment, one flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse).
Genesis 2 :24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his woman ; and they shall become one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse).
  • Moses wrote when mutual consented sexual intercourse occurred, unknowingly by others, when found out the couple was forced to remain together the rest of their days.
Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's (young woman's) father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his woman, because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

Book of Matthew

Her Man Caused adultery

Matthew 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery : and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

In Matthew 5:30-32 Jesus in his first discourse on marriage, begins with concerning Moses law on divorcing and marring another, interestingly chosen, pointed out the dire plight of dismiss wives, with his disciples. Jesus spoke about how a husband in dismissing his woman apart of the matter of fornication, causes (due to the general population of wives in Jesus' time had very little means to support themselves) to marry another, commits adultery. Jesus says her husband causes adultery, then says she commits adultery even though she is in hardship, a dire situation, was push in adultery. Her dire situation does not relieve her of the sin. Jesus says whoever marries her, commits adultery. This shows even the new man who things he shows pity on her and marries her, is in adultery.
  1. Her man caused adultery in her
  2. Woman commits adultery
  3. Her new man commits adultery
  • Jesus proclaims a woman's  dire hardship does not relieve her of sin. We will see a spirit (mental disposition) line of thought, evidence shows a woman is bound to her man as long as he lives.
Romans 7:1 Know ye not , brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth ? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth ; but if the husband be dead , she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth , she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead , she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

I Corinthians 7:10 And unto the married I command , yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart , let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband:

I Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead , she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Timothy 5:9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old (sixty years of age), having been the wife of one man,

The evidence in Tim 5:9, of the spirit (mental disposition) carried out to it's furthest. There is no allowance for woman to marry another, due to the cause of fornication. She is only to be put on the list of widows, if having been a woman of one man. The list was so the church as a whole would provide for them in various ways, when they have no relatives to provide for them. A form of social security for the aged. If it was allowed her to leave a husband, as some assume today for the cause of fornication, to marry another, words would of been written to cover this situation. They are not written, because this situation wasn't allowed, to be a woman of more then one man. This additional evidence combined with all the other evidence in the previous verses, to the intent, spirit (mental disposition) behind the words.

The same book of Matthew, Jesus continues a second discussion on marriage, with the pharisees' in Matt 19, and the disciples listening. The pharisees notice Jesus is in coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan, a distant land, where the ideas of marriage are more contentious, then nearer to Jerusalem. The pharisees tried to tempt Jesus, ask of him, can we put away the woman for every cause?

Matt 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

One Flesh
(Mutual Consented Sexaul Intercourse)
Beginning, Moment of marriage in God's eyes

Matt 19:4-5  And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read , that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said , For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife (actual word is woman, there is no word used in biblical times that signified marriage status): and they twain (two) shall be one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse)?

Jesus proclaims God created male and female in the beginning, for the purpose, reason, they will leave their parents and cleave to each other and become one flesh
(mutual consented sexual intercourse). The words "one flesh" had two distinct intents used by Jesus, the first use, will be the most direct way, terminology 2000 years ago, of saying sexual intercourse. The words sexual intercourse is a rather new terminology, not used in bible times. Jesus confirms the principle from Genesis, creation, and the principle in Moses law recognizing one flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse) as the moment when to let not man separate.
  1. One flesh = Mutual consented sexual intercourse = Beginning, moment of marriage in God's eyes.
  • There was never once recorded in the entire bible a covenant, oath type masqueraded as a vow involved, concerning when the moment marriage occurs. Jesus' primary teaching “swear not at all”.
Matt 5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

Matt 5:37 But let your speech be, Yes, yes; No, no: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil.

James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by the heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: but let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay; that ye fall not under judgment.

One Flesh

(Same Flesh, One Body as One Person)
Therefore Let Not Man Separate

Matt 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh (same flesh, one body, same person, one person, since sexual intercourse) Therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder (separate).

The second use of the terminology "one flesh" by Jesus is most significant, it's liken to an imaginary title over the two, perceiving the two are seen by God as one body, same person, one person, instead of two, since the moment of mutual consented sexual intercourse, therefore, sets in motion the law, decree, golden command 'let not man separate"  Jesus sets up the golden command for his kingdom, the church.
  1. One flesh = Same flesh, one body, same person, since sexual intercourse, God hath joined together.
  2. Therefore "LET NOT MAN SEPARATE"
This principle of one flesh, seen as one body, same person, one person is also shown in the old testament.

Leviticus 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
  • Jesus confirms marriage is instituted at the beginning of creation by God for all man, religious and non religious, mutual consent joining of the flesh is the exact moment, when marriage occurs, and consequently they are seen by God as one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse), one body, same person, one person.
  • Jesus does not begin or anywhere point to a vow, oath or covenant, instead begins, points, sets the beginning, foundation of marriage, with "one flesh" mutual consented sexual intercourse.
  • Many today in reading the words of Jesus, immediately succumb to their blind assumptions from centuries, of blind thinking so called religious and blind thinking non religious people. They taught marriage begins at some form of religious or worldly ceremony, assuming that there must be a covenant, combined with in Matt 19;4-5 the word "woman" mistranslated into the word "wife" (not used in biblical times), falsely showing as if marriage status, gives off a false impression she is married before the moment of "one flesh". This misperception, precept, philosophy of man sets the stage when they reach the words of Jesus "one flesh" they perceive them as an after thought, stating as if only the obvious, comes mutual consented sexual intercourse, not realizing the terminology "one flesh" is in spirit (mental disposition) within Jesus, stating the moment marriage occurs, shown by implications in Genesis examples, particularly in Moses law, and supported by all the evidence in the bible. Without giving this the proper attention, they then go on to reading Jesus stating the phrase a second time "one flesh", because of their lack of giving the full attention to the meaning to the phrase "one flesh" the first time said, they again give it little weight to the second time its said, "one flesh" means now as one person, same person seen by God, this sets in motion the  command, decree, golden law "let not man separate" that enforces the marriage not to separate.
  • To better understand what transpired 2000 years, since Jesus and Apostles words were said and written down. It is written in the new testament, Jesus since he lives forever, eternal, is called and sits as the perfect high priest forever at the right hand of God. It is written in the New Testament, all believers are as a royal priesthood, offering up daily right acts, as their sacrifices. The only central authority is in Jesus Christ, as the perfect high priest forever and his appointed Apostles. Their actions and words, recorded in the new testament, reflected upon, are to solely and only submit, by all believers who are referred to in the New testament as a royal priesthood (spiritual not literal), all called believers, called saints. Within the highest authority on earth, are in elders (overseers of the congregation).  Accordingly, they meet the high standards left to them in the Apostle Paul's writings. Elected by the congregation they were in, not elected by multiple congregations.
  • Corruption, an apostasy had formed through the Roman Government, who for their benefit, latch onto, in 312 AD, an unauthorized, non biblical centralization of authority, a religious literal one man ruler, a sect, set it up as a state religion. This sect had an imperfect literal high priest in the pope and a literal priest, as a literal priesthood. They set up (without Jesus and his apostles authorization found in scripture, except a  vague statement, many see Jesus is calling Peter's confession, is the rock, "Jesus is the Christ", the church is built upon, not Peter. Even so, Peter had a central leadership role, there is absolutely nothing written, commanded, charge of succession, as if a king). It convienently mimic the heathen kings, the kings of the old Testament, that God warned them not to have. A religious literal priesthood, which put power in one man, a few men, (not authorized in the New Testament to create a literal high priest or literal priesthood).  This Roman Catholic literal high priest, priesthood promoted by the state, persecuted, forced the others calling themselves the church, of independent congregations, to go underground (hidden) for centuries.
  • This Roman Catholic high priest (pope), priesthood, latched on to calling one flesh when occurred unknowing to others, a sin, fornication (without any biblical support), which conveniently disown all obligation to the woman, which convienently allowed them to hoard wealth. Contrary to the decree, golden command "let not man separate". They made laws that their literal priest must be present at a ceremony for the marriage to be recognized.
In 1403, the Bishop of Magdeburg threatening to excommunicate those who married without clergy in attendance.

Council of Trent in 1563 officially required that Catholic marriages be presided over by a priest.

    The Pharisees
pose another question to him, why then Moses allowed them to give a written certificate to put away?

Matt 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away

Jesus transcends Moses law on putting away, by saying, from the beginning (Genesis, creation) it was not so.

Matt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
  1. from the beginning it was not so (Jesus returns the original order from the beginning, Genesis, creation)
  • Paul wrote about the remnant in the book of Romans. It can be gathered, Jesus in his spirit, viewed Moses had written the particular law allowing the more numerous hard hearted Israelites in putting away, to protect the remnant (smaller surviving faithful group, believers in Israel). Moses had to give way to the more numerous hard hearted Israelites, less they removed Moses from power, leaving the remnant (smaller surviving faithful group, believers in Israel) at the mercy of hard hearted Israelites.
  • Jesus is setting up his Kingdom the church, where he returns to the original order as in the the beginning, genesis, not allowing to put away.
  • Jesus will now set up a new command in Matt 19:9
Adultery
Indirect and direct

Matt 19:9 But I say to you, who ever puts away his woman not for fornication, and (word sense, usage as if the word or) marries another, commits adultery.”

Matt 19:9 is the most important verse of marriage in the bible, there are a number of things to consider and analyze very carefully.
  • In the original greek, verse 19:9 begins with the word "but", is significant it shows a continue answer, from Matt 19:8 into verse Matt 19:9, they are connected. This may seem at first trivial, but this shows Jesus answer is not only connects the two verses, but most importantly also this shows connection to his statement said much earlier with his disciples, in Matt 5:31-32, where Jesus also began with concerning Moses law in putting away, and uses the word "but" then states the man's guilt of causing sin, and the other two individuals committing the sin. Matt 19:8-9 is as a follow up answer, as if you can over lay Mat 5:31-32 with matt 19:8-9, but having an additional basis, line of thought, concerning the man that cause the sin. Jesus will now pronounce further judgment in the one action of putting away not for fornication, an additional guilt of sin, that he commits adultery.
  • To find this out, we must observed an additional biasis, line of thought. Jesus states in Matt 19:6, the man is as connected to his wife as one flesh, as the same body, same person. On the basis of one flesh, as one body, same person, the man can be found guilty on additional grounds, besides causing sin in his woman, the sin in his woman body becomes his, being his body is stated as one flesh, with her body, he commits adultery (be it indirectly). In how he and his woman are viewed by God, as the same body since the first moment of mutual consented sexual intercourse.
  1. Put away not for fornication, commits indirectly adultery (found guilty on additional grounds, besides causing sin in his woman, the sin in his woman body becomes his)
  2. Marries another, commits directly adultery
  • Matt 19:9 shows evidence of another connection Matt 5:31 -32, both have the same phraseology "Whoever puts away his woman .......... for fornication". In the mist of the phraseology Matt 5 has the words "apart from the matter" (in original Greek), and  the mist of the phraseology matt 19:9 has the single word "not" (in original Greek). The reason for the slight change, is to further reveal the spirit (mental disposition) intent behind the words.
  • The word "not" (in original Greek), was always render as "not" never the word "except". The King James version of the bible in 1611, had mistranslated the word “not”  into the word “except”. You will find the correct translation "not" in the American Standard Bible, Darby Bible and Greek Interlinear Bible by Alfred Marshall.
  • Matt 19:9 is speaking solely for men concerning Moses law, in putting away their woman, concerning putting away not for fornication, again putting light upon woman's dire plight in Jesus' time. Many have not recognized this fact, and in their misperceiving the spirit (mental disposition) in error, have additionally error, applied  their misperceiving to woman putting away her man. Being men weren't in generally in dire plight if put away, so Matt 19:9 isn't applicable for woman.
  • Jesus in the very same chapter used the word “and”, usage as if the word “or”, describing as a list, how men became eunuchs. Jesus spoke of eunuchs, did not describe a case (time sequence actions immediately connected to each other). If Jesus intent, in Matt 19:9 said the word "and" usage as if the word "or" then Jesus had stated first causes, and (or) an action taken, either cause or action by itself, commits adultery.  An example below using the word "and" with the usage, intent of the word "or".
Matt 19:11 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and (usage as if the word or) there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and (usage as if the word or) there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake.”

Jesus' spirit (mental disposition) basis, line of thought, if only put away his wife not for fornication, besides causeing, he commits indirect adultery through her body.
  • Matt 5:31-32 Jesus stated a husband when puts away his woman apart for fornication, causes her to commit adultery.
  • Matt 19:6 Jesus states that a husband and wife are seen by God as one flesh (one body, one person, same person).
  • Matt 19:9 Jesus conclusion, spirit (mental disposition), line of thought would lead to in addition to causing adultery in his wife, Jesus states the additional judgment, commits adultery (be it indirectly), being he is as one flesh (one body, one person, same person) through his wife's body.
  1. The spirit (mental disposition) "one flesh" as one body, same person, two thousand years ago would be more apparent, understood, because the people recognized marriage began at one flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse), this would allow more readily the people 2,000 years ago, consequently to perceive the concept of indirect adultery. A husband not only the cause but guilty, indirectly commits adultery, even though the action of committing adultery in his wife's body.
  2. Contrary to today, as if fixated on the minds of men and woman, marriage beginnings at a ceremony, vow, oath, a covenant (not one of these supported in the bible), will have a much harder time perceiving the concept of indirect adultery.
Matt 19:10 The disciples say unto him, If the case (correct word word cause in original greek) of the man is so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry (another). ASV

The disciples who heard the earlier statements of Jesus in Matt 5 and this current discourse in Matt 19, will point, confirm the true spirit (mental disposition, intent) behind Jesus' words. They will ask the question, perceiving the cause of fornication is all that's left allowed on the table, where as to marry (another) commits adultery, is totally off the table. Where as under the old covenant, to marry (another) was not forbidden, they could even have multiple wives (polygamy, still being married to all at the same time), as long as they weren't someone else's wife. Jesus now commands marries another commits adultery.
  • The word "case" is in the KJV, ASV, but in the Greek interlinear by Alfred Marshall has the word "cause". Actually in original Greek it's the word "cause", not case. additional evidence, Jesus and apostles perceived the causes, not a case, time sequence action, inmeditately connected to each other.
  • As discussions progress, man shortens phrases, uses less words, so not to sound repetitive and various other reasons. For it's understood to the other person spoken too, by the immediate previous details that were said. Someone over hears the conversation, unknown to the two, because of the less words or shorten phrases, perceives the wrong spirit (mental disposition, intent) behind the words. The person who misperceives, starts doing things according to their miss preconception.
  • The apostles only said one word “cause” this shows they shorten a phrase and the word “marry” can be seen as also shorten a phrase, these words "cause and marry" signify the words by Jesus “put away for fornication” and “marry another”.
  1. The apostles conclusion, when using the only cause (put away for fornication) left available on the table, it is expedient not to marry (another), it's a forbidden action, would commit adultery.

Cut Off
an Imaginary Extension
of the
Male Anatomy
in Your Heart

Matt 19:11-12 11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. 12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it let him receive it.

Jesus explains, uses the spiritual (mental disposition) principle detachment, pluck out your imaginary eye, cut off your imaginary hand, from your heart, from Matt 5:29, connects it to Matt 19:12 to cut off an imaginary extension of the male anatomy in your heart, being as a eunuch within your heart, so the entertainment, logic, desire will not be manifested in actual sin.
  1. In conclusion, Jesus spirit (mental disposition) teaches when a man puts away a woman for the cause of fornication, it is expedient (profitable) to be a spiritual eunuch, mental detachment of the imaginary extension of the male anatomy in your heart, to empower, keep from marring another, commits adultery, be cast into hell.
  2. Is done for the sake of the kingdom of heaven (the church, it's teachings for harmony and peace between your brother, neighbor), in spiritual (mental disposition, particular thinking, mind makeup) form, being revealed to them.
The disciples had used the signature word “expedient” in Matt 19:10, shows another connection with Jesus' earlier discussion in Mat 5:27-30, where the word expedientwas also used. Jesus had earlier stated to his disciples in Matt 5:27-30, it is profitable (same word in Greek use in Matt 19, for the word expedient), to pluck out your eye, and cut off your hand, spiritually (mental deposition) meaning you cut off your logic, an imagery eye viewing or imagery hand touching, the entertainment, logic, of adultery in your heart, then to reach the finale step, the desire be manifested committing actual adultery, and be cast into hell.

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable (same wrod use in greek for expedient) for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable (same word use in greek for expedient) for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Study of the meaning of the word heart by Jesus.
Jesus had earlier said your heart, is where your treasure is and also says from your heart, comes evil ways, comes sin. James explains how lust (thinking on the act of sin in the heart) when lust conceives, it bringeth forth, manifests in actual sin.

Matt 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.

Matt 15:8 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings: 20 these are the things which defile the man;

James 1:13-15 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Mark 10
Mark 10:10-12 And in the house again the disciples about this questioned him. 11 And he says to them: Whosoever dismisses the wife of him and marries another, commits adultery with her; and if she having dismissed the husband of her marries another, she commits adultery. (Greek interlinear Alfred Marshall)

Verse Mark 10 has something additional not found in Matt 19, the disciples ask of Jesus again in the house of the matter.
  1. Jesus here describes two sets of situations, which are now time sequence events. Jesus adds additional words in the sentence structure, in original Greek, to show they are situations.
Jesus in Mark 10, is a continual testimony of these events, recorded the repeating of the words, phrases "one flesh". Mark does not record Jesus' earlier discussion in Matt 5 'whoever puts away his wife apart from the matter of fornication", interestedly Mark also does not record Matt 19:9 similar phraseology, "who ever puts away his woman not for fornication", nor recorded in luke or John.
  • As if since these two statements are so connected, being without Mark recording the first discussion in Matt 5:31-32, the second discussion part in Matt 19:9, related, if recorded only, couldn't be understood, so Mark left the part out in Mark 10.

Conclusion

  1. I'm compelled by the evidence, the earlier statements of Jesus, the use of the term "one flesh" twice, having two meanings, the proper translated words, the various word usage used by Jesus, his apostles response, and finally Mark leaving items out, as to show they are connected, brings me to the conclusion, Jesus stated causes not for fornication, and (or) the action "marries another", either by themselves alone, commits adultery, be it indirectly or direct.
  2. There is no direct statement by Jesus or his apostles to command, to permit, to marry another.

Apllication for today

One may ask how does this teaching of Jesus become applicable 2,000 years later, when most woman, if put away for any cause, can provide for their selves, and not be forced in marring another committing adultery? The answer I find is yes certain ages, time periods, societal circumstances can limit the accountability of actions. So the limitation for only fornication in putting away a wife, particular today, wouldn't be as applied. However throughout the bible it's stated a woman is the weaker vessel, to put a wife in a difficult task of providing for herself, what happens in the difficulty she commits adultery? Would her first husband be guilty of indirect adultery? Some would say yes and some would say no I imagine. Which ever the situation, as seen by God, there still remains, is God's decrees, commands through Jesus, for husband and wife, if separated (officially or unofficially), they must remain unmarried or reconcile. The husband if separated, is to be as a spiritual eunuch or reconcile. This teaching of Jesus particularity concerning remarriage is for the church, not for civil law. However the more this teaching becomes accepted, the more it will be applied, at least making it more difficult to be divorced, remarriage in society by the law of the land, but never to the extent of being completely forbidden by the Law of the Land. If anything the laws of the land should at least accomplish, is strongly nudge people toward rightful actions, in regards to discouraging remarriage.
Notice Jesus had pointed, spoke only concerning husbands, men in Matt 19, not woman. The length of error to mistakenly think Matt 19:9 is perceived as sequence of events, then in error many apply it to wives who put away. Instead Mat 19:9 is speaking solely to husbands who put away his woman not for fornication, the ramifications for his woman in Jesus' day, not being able to provide for herself, she commits adultery, matt 19:9 her husband being as permanent one flesh with her, additionally indirectly commits adultery through her. A man on the other hand if put way by his woman, could provide for himself, not having to commit adultery, in remarrying. 1 Corth 7 shows no restrictions for woman, for some woman could provide for themselves, but she must remain unmarried or reconcile.
This has in essence, is the first and only statement in the entire bible, eliminated polygamy for men. You cannot find another statement in the bible that forbids polygamy. Where the old covenant had allowed polygamy for men only, but not for woman. Woman were forbidden to have more then one husband at the same time in the old covenant. There was no law in the old covenant that forbid a man having two or more wives at once.

  • The primary forbidden action "marrying another", is the only place in the new covenant, and recorded in the entire bible, that forbade (polygamy) having wives at the same time, commits adultery.
As for the laws in regards to when marriage occurs, at least with the young men and woman, particularly in their teen years, they must be held accountable. Meaning if became through mutual consent sexual intercourse, one flesh, one body, government must make it a law, as Moses made it a law, they must be recognized as married. I suggest at least by law recognized and cannot remarry for seven years. This to give the most effort to nurture the young couple, that family, so called religious leaders,  won't interfere with the marriage continuing and flourishing. Also to warn peers seeing they are married, from interfering in the marriage. Also to allow peers who may of had a romantic interest with one of them, to know that they are now married, so to allow faster recovery of a broken heart, and find someone they can marry.
If Government gives into a few disgruntled parents, not wanting their daughter or son to marry someone, due to financial, opposite religious feuds, racial, etc., government not recognizing the marriage had occurred at mutual consenting sexual intercourse, government not holding the couple accountable to each other, the flood gates are open. The end result, is the current situation today, millions of conceived babies, slaughtered in premeditated slow torture, the killing, premeditated murder of babies, abortion.

Philosophy and psychology of the State

6-14-2005 updated

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the
rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Philosophy seeks to remove restraints of religion and its morality, psychology seeks to give solutions from a merely
short term human observation, and some in religion seek to put non-biblical morality restraints, traditions on people. These have shunned Moses and Jesus' biblical reasoning principles, morality pertaining to when the moment a marriage occurs. This has evolved into perceiving marriages begin at the moment of a part oath, part vow. Which has brought us into an age, where the natural passion, cleaving, a woman being a virgin and a man being a virgin, became one flesh (sexual intercourse), having no certificate or vow, is devalued to the point of merely nothing, merely sex. Due to false assumptions of biblical morality, sake of careers, material wealth, and many other non-biblical morality reasons.
The government employee promoted philosophy and psychology and some in religion, have determined by their own self reasoning, void of evidences in the bible, when is a marriage. They attack, torn down Moses and Jesus of Nazareth morality, written words, which had witness a marriage occurs when became one flesh (sexual intercourse), particularly when a woman being a virgin and a man himself a virgin .
Beginning hundreds of years ago, some in religion, leaning on their own understanding, outside of the written words of Moses and Jesus Of Nazareth morality, created another moment when a marriage occurs, at the time of a part oath, part vow, and so called covenant. Then philosophy which is a long time enemy of religion and morality, from age to age, becomes a rave, but especially when government employee promoted philosophy, seduces many, to remove the restraints of religion and morality. Then arrives very late on the scene compared to thousands of years, government employee promoted psychology, fills the vacuum, a recent human behavior group, seducing the people even more, re labeling human behavior, calling it words to the effect of merely sex, merely nothing. These forces in combination, along with the more recent invention of contraceptives in effect create notions, false assumptions of free love, one night stands, that their is no marriage, when occurs one flesh (sexual intercourse) . Where we evolved now to laws permitting the killing of the conceived child. Which has transferred the same mentality from merely sex, merely nothing, too merely a baby, merely nothing?
This due to the unconstitutional overwhelming influence, indoctrination by government employee promoted philosophy and psychology in government universities. Especially the last forty years, on the electorate, millions of young men and woman, students, effectually causing a great sift in elections toward philosophy and psychology causes. Creating a great divide in society, in elections, against the biblical morality heritage of Moses and Jesus of Nazareth of the people, “by” the people in religion and morality. Many youthful woman and men seen the government highly esteemed the pursuit of material wealth and government so called experts proclaiming one flesh (sexual intercourse) as merely sex, merely nothing, many were persuaded, convinced by government to leave their first. Many of the conceived babies were murdered, both of these human behaviors are offered on the alter of the pursuit of material wealth, merely sex, merely nothing, free love.
These so called highly educated woman and men had gone out into the world and taught and practice their values of merely sex, merely nothing, to millions of others, in less economic circumstances, resulted in even more dire, horrible outcomes. This became a vicious circle, where government promoted psychology step in, which have instigated much of the matter, claimed to be the heroes of the day, offered massive amounts of government tax dollar solutions, never seeing the root of the problem, themselves.
