sake of the kingdom of heaven or reconciliation.
Bible Fact I: There is no marriage vow (swearing) in the entire bible. Genesis 2 :24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his woman ; and they shall become one flesh.
Some assumed when it says husband or wife in certain places of the
bible they were married, before they become one flesh. Actually there
is only the words man or woman wherever the words husband or wife is
seen in the bible. The words man or woman was used sometimes with the
sense, usage of having marriage status or other usage. However there
was no word used in biblical times such as husband or wife, specifying
marriage status within these words alone. Husband or wife, are words
that were created many centuries after the bible was written.
The translators of the bible in their aim to make the bible easier to read perhaps some unconsciously, some not unconsciously built on earlier translators zeal to promote a man's conjured up moment when marriage occurs. They have applied the non biblical terminology husband or wife, in passages where there is no clear evidence marriage status was applied. Attempting to discredit marriage occurs at one flesh (sexual intercourse) let not man separate, cited by Jesus. In so doing, many people cannot get pass this non biblical terminology husband or wife, and insist wrongly because these words husband or wife are seen in their bible presuming showing marriage status, they must be married.
Due to this circumstance, I have taken the liberty afforded by the
actual meaning of the words, to replace the words “husband" and "wife”
in various scriptures, with
the words “man" and "woman”,
where there is no evidence of actual marriage status shown in the
context. To allow as originally written, if shown in context marriage
status is applied, then and only then is it to be presumed.
The case of Eve was created of the flesh of Adam, called her man (same
flesh, Adam), for she was created from his flesh in an extraordinary
way. It has been suggested Adam and Eve had marriage status in God's
eyes before one flesh (sexual intercourse), perhaps but there is not
enough detail, evidence present to establish, however this one of the
kind, unique situation is never cited by Moses or especially Jesus, to
teach marriage status occurs before one flesh (sexual intercourse).
There is an abundance of evidence by Moses law and Jesus saying one
flesh (sexual intercourse) cited as the moment, let not man separate.
Jesus words are the golden rule established for all.
Woman are created from man's flesh, God declares, therefore how a woman is created from man, a man shall cleave (longing, adhere, keep company, clinging, embracing, passion) unto his woman, and they twain (two) shall be one flesh (sexual intercourse), let not man separate, cited by Jesus. There are other purposes where it's written his, my, woman (not the word wife) or her man (not the word husband), not showing marriage status as yet, or to woman, having marriage status in God's eyes, but having to perform the formality of that age. Early in the Old Testament the words "knew" and "go in unto her", was
the only description recorded in the bible showing they married or
going to be married.

4:1 And the man knew Eve his woman; and she conceived, and bare Cain,

Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of Jehovah, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17 And Cain knew his woman; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. Genesis 24:67 And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his woman. And he loved her. And Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
First recorded marriage feast in the bible for the joining of one flesh
(sexual intercourse), notice the marriage feast was used to deceive
Jacob into
marring someone he didn't want to marry. Jacob said, give me my woman
that I may go in unto her. Jacob does not say give me my woman that I
may say a vow, oath, involve swearing to one another. Jacob recognizes
to be one flesh (sexual intercourse) is instituted of God the moment he
is married to Rachel.

29:21 And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my woman for my days are
fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.

case of Shechem (Genesis 34), a very sad love story, relation to the
later prescribed Moses' Law Deuteronomy 22:28 in Fact 3.

22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed,
and lay hold on her,
and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the
man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's (young woman's)
father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his woman, because he
hath humbled (Strong’s Concordance 6031 notice this same word is used
in Genesis 34:1) her, he may not put her away all his days.

bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. 2 And when
Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he
took her, and
lay with her, and defiled (6031) her.
Other
bible versions use the word humbled, Moses when used the word in
Deuteronomy 22:28 didn't show
negativity to the extent of force, evil, sin or a punishment of death.

Consider Dinah's brother's anger they say "lying with Jacob's daughter", notice no mention of forced was used. I mention this because there are some who will try to claim this was a situation of force, rape. Her brother's never state, specifying forced had occurred (Strong's concordance 2388 a primitive root; to fasten upon; hence, to seize, be strong) as used in Deuteronomy 22:25, showing a situation of force, rape and its punishment was death. Instead we see anger over ceremonial circumcision, later Jacob troubled for his son's over the top reaction:

longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to woman (fulfill
formalities, paying dowry, was a formality, if found to lain with a
woman). 9 And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto

the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you
possessions therein. 11 And Shechem said unto her father and unto her

Notice the detailed description written of the prince's character:

have done the Lord's work? Not even close.
Jacob said, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink. Stink Strong's concordance 887 a primitive root; to smell bad; figuratively, to be offensive morally:--(make to) be abhorred (had in abomination, loathsome, odious), (cause a, make to) stink(-ing savour), X utterly. Whose
the real harlots?
Simeon
and Levi spoke deceitfully
and murdered at the edge of the sword, stole
their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the
city, and that which was in the field. And all their wealth, and all
their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even
all that was in the house.
Later, Simeon, Levi, and other older brothers in anger plotted to
murder their younger brother Joseph because he had a dream that his
older brothers, the moon and stars will bow down to him. Then the older
brothers were persuaded by the brother Judah and a passing slave
caravan, to sell Joseph into slavery for profit (twenty shekels of
silver). Eventually the dream comes true, Joseph
becomes
second in charge over all of Egypt, all of Jacob's household joins
Joseph is Egypt.
Jacob on his death bed,
prophesied of his sons, as to Simeon and Levi:
Genesis 49:5 Simeon and
Levi are brethren; Weapons of violence are their swords. 6 O my soul,
come not thou into their council; Unto their assembly, my glory, be not
thou united; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will
they hocked an ox. 7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; And
their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, And scatter
them in Israel.
As the years went by, the Pharaohs forget about Joseph, and treat his descendants:
It's Ironic that Moses seen as a prince among Egyptians, a descendent of Levi, is the man chosen to set free the Hebrews from enslavement to Egypt. Moses writes laws that if followed by his forefather Levi, would of perhaps kept them from being enslaved to Egyptians. Exodus
22:16 And if a man entice
a maid that is not
betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his woman
. 17 If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay
money according to the dowry of virgins.
Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's (young woman's) father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his woman, because he hath humbled (Strong’s Concordance 6031 notice this same word is used in Genesis 34:1) her, he may not put her away all his days.
So according to law of Moses, every time two became one flesh
(one night stand) with mutual consent (as long as they were free to
marry), when found out, they were forced to remain together. That means
thousands of marriages were formed this way for thousands of years, in
Jesus' days and many years after Jesus.
Bible Fact II: Fornication never in the bible defined premarital sex (oxymoron), between two who were free to marry. If the two had mutual consenting sexual intercourse, even unknowingly to others, was found out, Moses law commanding them “he may not put her away all his days".
Moses never called it
fornication, or infer it was evil, a sin when found out, a man and un
betroth virgin woman became one flesh (mutual
consented
sexual intercourse),
unknowingly to others. Instead Moses wrote a Law: Exodus 22
16 “he shall surely endow her to be his woman“, and Deuteronomy 22:28
“he may not put her away all his days“.

Surely (had to) endow her to be his woman, the formality didn't make
her his woman in God's eyes. Rather the formality was an expectation,
you can say tradition, custom that men
learn to expect. Moses in keeping order in the society, made it certain
the expectations, even some customs would be fulfilled, within the
confines of the principles, spiritual laws, the particular law since
the beginning, when one flesh occurred (mutual consented sexual
intercourse) the couple was looked upon as joined of God, married.
Jesus when setting up his kingdom, does not state at dowry (money paid)
or any other moment, but at the moment of one flesh (mutual consented
sexual intercourse), let not man separate.
Moses making sure the dowry will be paid, the custom, so there will not be civil unrest. If civil unrest breaks out, Moses would lose the trust of the people. Because of this Moses made a law that insured the payment of money would surely be paid, so not to lose the people over grumbling, over lost money. Remember their were harden hearts in Israel who would use any chance they have to remove Moses from power. Because Moses done this, some only see what they want to see, such as the case of the revised standard version adding the word “make" her to be his wife, causing some seeing additional emphasis to infer wrongly marriage began at the payment of money. The society in Moses day, recognized marriage at joining of the flesh, would of seen Moses trying to keep peace in a situation that may be to some a great disappointment, hard to accept. They wouldn't of seen Moses saying marriage begins at a payment of money or at least the more enlighten, knowing God's ways wouldn't. The ones who were not more enlightened, the harden hearts of Israel would of seen at least the custom of dowry, money was paid, so as to offset the great disappointment, keeping them from causing civil unrest. Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's (young woman) father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his woman, ; because he hath humbled (Strong’s Concordance 3061) her, he may not put her away all his days.
Moses
in bringing order to the custom of endowing, clarified, so the
formalities would be followed orderly. Amended Exodus 22:16-17 by
writing Deuteronomy 22:28, he change the words from entice to hold:
When a man laid with a woman unknowingly to others, is found out, one will make a grave error not realizing the woman in many cases had a baby nine months later. Today many of these babies are murdered, due to the consequences of the free love generation, in abortion 47,000,000 deaths and counting, or if she had the baby, was she to become a working single mom 3,300 years ago? They made them remain together especially for the babies that would be born in such circumstances to be care for by two parents. This should be the law of the land for young woman today, besides what Jesus said, let not man separate. Who are you mere man that will separate? The NIV, New International Version of the Bible published in 1978, in the verse Deuteronomy 22:28 has change the word from "hold" to "rape". They have applied an over the top translation, which is not in keeping to almost every other translation, which didn't assigned the word rape. The word in question hold = Strong's concordance a primitive root; to manipulate, control by the hands, in a skillful manor. As to entice to have sexual intercourse, is not used where there is a description of rape in the bible. It was the case of mutual consent sexual intercourse, not by force, but the way of man's hands holds, in a skillful manor, as to entice, embraces, caresses a young woman, until she consents shows passion in return, to the extent she permits, allows sexual intercourse to occur.

The word fornication is as a similar word we use today perverted,
anything sexually outside the teachings of the ancient nation of
Israel. Fornication is a broad way of saying prostitution, adultery,
incest, (suggest also homosexuality and bestiality) in one word, it was
never in the bible attributed
to the behavior in Fact 2.
Fornication never was attributed to when particularly a male (taken into account God allowed polygamy in the early stages of biblical history, but no more) and virgin female, became one flesh (sexual intercourse) unknowing to others, was found out. If fornication was attributed, would wipe away the marriages by simple joining of the flesh without any ceremony at the beginning of creation, Moses commanded by law when two became one flesh unknowing to others, was found out, were forced to remain together and Jesus states "one flesh, let not man separate". When two became one flesh (sexual intercourse) unknowing to others, was found out, the man was to surely, fulfill formality, endow her to be his woman.
Moses law
shows the expectation of following through with a betroth (engagement).
Moses condemns the man and the woman who
violates the betrothed
(engagement) in an insensitive way, especially in a
small community. The violation of expectations would cause great
turmoil
among the people, to the extent that may cause great hatred, vengeance,
civil unrest among the families and small community involved. To
remedy this Moses condemned the violators of the civil unrest to death.
Deuteronomy
22: 23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto a man, and a
man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24 Then ye shall bring them
both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with
stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the
city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor's woman: so
thou
shalt put away evil from among you.
Moses law reflected the expectations of following through with the arrangements of betrothment (engagement), if not at least in a civil way to end the betrothment, as to not cause great turmoil and civil unrest among the small community. We do not stone people, Moses law is not in effect and especially due to Jesus’ spiritual laws we are now under for 2,000 years, which affirms the spiritual law at the beginning, came before and supersedes Moses law. She would then be married to the man she laid with, even if she was already engaged to another.
Example,
Joseph is recognized as a righteous
man, not willing to make Mary a public example, was minded to put
her away privily.
Matthew
1:18-25 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ
was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
19 And Joseph her man (correct biblical terminology, agreed
to future joining of the flesh, will be married), being a righteous
man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put
her away privily.
The situation of rape, there is no mutual consent, means it is not a marriage. Deuteronomy
22:25
But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force
her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no
sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and
slayeth him, even so is this matter: 27 For he found her in the field,
and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death.
New testament = Romans 7:1 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? 2 For the woman who has a man is bound by the law to her man as long as he lives. But if the man dies, she is released from the law of her man. 3 So then if, while her man lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her man dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.
Some today would point to Solomon 11:3 he had 700
wives and 300 concubines. Thinking wrongly a concubine is not a wife.
Concubines were woman who became wives, who were once slaves from
conquered adversaries, foreign people. It was a way of having mercy
upon the enemies of Israel, instead of killing them meaninglessly, they
were made servants, enslaved, some they married.

21:10
When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy
God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them
captive, 11 And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a
desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; 12 Then thou
shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and
pare her nails; 13 And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from
off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her
mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be
her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
Judges 19:1 In those days, when there was no king in Israel, a Levite living in a remote part of the hill country of Ephraim acquired a woman from Bethlehem in Judah as his concubine. 2 But she was unfaithful to him and left him for her father's house in Bethlehem in Judah. She was there for a period of four months. 3 Then her husband got up and went after her to speak kindly to her and bring her back. His servant and a couple of donkeys were with him. So she brought him to her father's house, and when the girl's father saw him, he gladly welcomed him. 4 His father-in-law, the girl's father, detained him, and he stayed with him for three days. They ate, drank, and spent the nights there. 5 On the fourth day, they got up early in the morning and prepared to go, but the girl's father said to his son-in-law, "Have something to eat to keep up your strength and then you can go." The verses concerning the covenant between Israel and God in the Old Testament, is an actual covenant. Was also at times along side used a metaphor of marriage, to show some similarities, comparison of God's relationship toward Israel liken as his woman. Some have used this metaphor to teach, equate, there is an actual covenant in a marriage. Not so, an actual marriage is bound not by being in a covenant, oath or vow, but by simply the proclamation of God at the beginning. When God created male and female, once joined in the flesh they are bound for a lifetime, reaffirmed by Jesus. Never is there cited in the bible in an actual marriage in the bible, an actual covenant is made by vowing, or oath. Using the name of God, a promise to each other till death due us part. When a man using the name of God to bind himself to another individual (a woman) becomes more liken to oath taking, then vow taking. There is no evidence, example, command, or law in the bible, of either form vowing or an oath, applied in a marriage celebration, marriage ceremony.
In the case of Joseph and Mary, where it should only be written man and
woman, the translators adding the word "husband and wife" non biblical
terminology, words created many years after the bible was written,
which led to false conclusions there was marriage status in God's eyes.
Where instead it is only recorded Mary was betrothed, not married
status as yet, but agreed to be one flesh (sexual intercourse) to
Joseph.
Many have tried to use this unique circumstance as their foundation, pointing out the words husband and wife (non biblical terminology, words created many years after the bible was written) to teach a doctrine marriage status was not at one flesh (sexual intercourse). Resulting in today when unknowingly two became one flesh (sexual intercourse), when found out, are separated whom God has joined together, making void the word of Jesus. Matthew
1:18-25 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his
mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she
was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 And Joseph her man (correct
biblical terminology, agreed to future joining of the
flesh, will be married). being a righteous man, and not willing to
make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But
when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared
unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to
take unto thee Mary thy woman (correct biblical terminology,
agreed to future joining of the flesh, will be married) : for that
which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 24 And Joseph arose
from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and
took unto him his woman (correct biblical terminology, agreed to
future joining of the flesh, will be married) ; 25 and knew her not
till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name JESUS.
Luke 2: 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David; 5 to enrol himself with Mary who was betrothed to him, being great with child. John
2:1: And the third day there was a marriage in
Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2:
And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
The biblical example of a marriage ceremony, Jesus attended, no mention of a vow, oath or swearing, neither anywhere else in the bible. We have in the early part of the bible an example of a marriage lasted some days, and there was the moment recorded they became one flesh, within close distance to the father of the bride. They didn't have honeymoon destinations, airplanes to fly them to some exotic paradise, for sightseeing, adventure, or see the world as we call it today. They were very primitive, simple people, grateful for simple pleasures. They celebrated the two having mutual consented sexual intercourse as beautiful, one of the greatest gifts of God. These people were not embarrassed knowing the two were alone during the wedding feast were becoming one flesh in a room, the house or tent in view distance. When they came out of the tent or house, the crowd could truly celebrate, God had join two to be one flesh. Giving thanks to God.
In the case of the Samaria woman (noted: Jews have no dealings with
Samaritans) at the well, she had five husbands (actual word men, not
revealing they had marriage status with her). When using the correct
words men and man, it can be perceived and accepted that Jesus is
pointed out she had not marriage status in God's eyes with any of these
men. She said has no man, Jesus said she answered truly. The
explanation best of my understanding, is she committed adultery with
already married men, to other woman. Where any joining of the flesh
with these type already married men, is adultery. Is not a marriage in
God's word.

Bible Fact IV: Jesus marriage proclamation (reaffirms Adam's words at the beginning and Moses Law), the two shall become one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse) marriage occurs. So that they are no more two, but one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Jesus in Matt 19:4-6 cites, 4 And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made [them] from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife (actual word is woman, the words wife or husband did not exist in biblical times, words showing marriage status, came years after the bible was written, explained in Bible fact I); and the two shall become one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse)? 6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Jesus
cites, reaffirms the proclamation “at the beginning”, it's God
who made them male and female, as his foundation.
Also the terminology “one flesh” was used in another sense by Jesus to show they are seen by God as if one person forever hence forward until death since becoming one flesh or other words sexual intercourse. Which then becomes the foundation, logic of Jesus to establish his golden rule of marriage forever for his kingdom, the church, Jesus commanded “Not let man separate” Once joined (one flesh, same flesh since sexual intercourse) forbidden to be separated by man. Even when become one flesh unknowingly to others, when found out were forced to remain together for the rest of their days, prescribed my Moses Law still in effect when Jesus taught and reaffirms this principle and law for the kingdom of heaven, the church. Jesus words on marriage are the primary law established for all time hence forth. It's the spiritual (logic) law for his spiritual kingdom on earth, the church, anyone who claims to be a part of his church, must abide by his spiritual (logic) laws. Notice Jesus does not mention vows or covenant, which by the way is never mention directly or indirectly once in the bible concerning an actual marriage. Numbers 30:1: And Moses

A primary teaching of Jesus, when can we swear? Jesus

to swear by something greater, that an action will be fulfilled by the

Jesus did not exclude marriage, to allow swearing in a ceremony. Again there is never mention once a vow, oath, swearing made during, at a marriage ceremony, celebration, feast in the bible. This alone speaks volumes where swearing in marriages originate from man. Jesus
words: Mark 7:6 Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is
written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is
far from me. 7 But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their]
doctrines the precepts of men. 8 Ye leave the commandment of God, and

states, quotes “one flesh, let not man separate". Jesus does not state,

= Since the beginning of creation for thousands of years, in
Jesus' times and many years after, the man and woman didn't vow, make
an oath, swear
during marriage feast. During the marriage feast, the two were brought
together, alone they become one flesh (sexual intercourse) the moment
they were regarded as married, by the people celebrating the event.

Jesus establishes, restores, and affirms the universal commandment from
at the beginning for
all people. That trumps, outranks, fulfills,
exceeds all Moses commandments in Moses kingdom and any of man's
assumptions, formalities. Any of man's conjured up invention or decree
of a religious body or civil government, cannot invalidate Jesus'
commandment.
We look at Moses commandments as examples, where many of his laws give
support, foundation to the commandments of Jesus. Moses laws are not in
effect. The spiritual laws of Jesus are in effect which fulfills,
exceeds Moses laws corresponds at the beginning of creation. The
primary
part of Moses law, are by Jesus affirmed.
The first five facts, demonstrates the mental disposition of Jesus'
times and previous to Jesus. How the people perceive when marrying
occurred at one flesh (sexual intercourse) and is looked upon as one
flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). This started at the
beginning of creation when God made them male and female.
The peculiarities, corruption, due to the hardening of man's hearts of how things evolved concerning marriage from Genesis until Jesus, are removed out of the way. When Jesus restores what was "at the beginning" "one flesh (sexual intercourse)" "God joined together" "let not man separate" All of Jesus and Apostle's teachings on relations between man and woman must be understood with this background.
In later
centuries man
leans on his own understanding to conjure up rational, decrees claiming
commitment, vow, oath, covenant, betroth, money, ceremony, certificate,
celebration, jumping over a broomstick, priest present, church
building, is when a marriage occurs or to say what holds man and woman
together, he is denying Jesus' word. Making void God's word that says
“at the beginning” one flesh (sexual intercourse), "God joined
together", "let not man separate", holds a man and woman together for a
life time.
Jesus
said Matt 5:31-32 “whoever puts away his wife apart from the matter of
fornication causes her to commit adultery (due to the dire plight of
the
vast majority of wives in Jesus' times, if on their own is not able to
feed, cloth and
shelter themselves) and
whoever marries her commits adultery.”
The background of an age and time, a young woman's virginity was
carefully guarded by her parents, but if in a rare case she and a man
became one flesh unknowingly to others, was found out, they were
forced by the spiritual teaching of God in Genesis, then Law of Moses
to have it recognized they were married and cannot separate, this
canceled out such things as one night stands. They married at a young
age, many beginning in their mid teens (14,15,16), late teens.
In Matt 5 Jesus addresses the dire plight of vast majority of wives, in the word causes (makes, compels). In an age and time when a wife had very limited standing in society, limited abilities other then motherhood. Dismissed wives on their own had very limited ways of providing for themselves and very limited social protection by the state to care for them if dismissed, such as allowing the famished to eat some of the left over crops in field. If dismissed they would usually be forced, compelled into marrying another for food, clothing and shelter. So because of this Jesus points out to men, husbands who dismiss their wives apart of fornication “causes her to commit adultery” and whoever marries her in this situation, commits adultery. Notice Jesus does not release her to marry (another), even she is innocent and likely in dire situation not readily able to provide for her needs. Bible Fact VII: Jesus addressees further when a husband puts away his wife not for fornication, causes (due to her dire plight in Jesus’ times) her to commit adultery, this by itself alone her husband (same flesh) indirectly commits adultery and also affirms if a husband marries another, directly commits adultery. Disciples gather from Jesus statements if a husband puts away for fornication (which Jesus allows), its expedient (profitable) for him not to marry (another), due to the primary cause marries another commits adultery. Jesus affirms the expediency (profitability) not to marry (another), be a spiritual eunuch for the sake of the kingdom of heaven or reconciliation.
The backdrop, Jesus is closer to the gentile's influence, leaving the
more highly moral structured society, to a lesser moral structured
society. The Pharisees in their craftiness tempted Jesus, seeing what
Jesus will say, perhaps being influence by the less moral society.
Matt 19:1 And it came to
pass,
that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee,
and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; 2: And great
multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
Matt 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? Jesus reveals a principle which is at the heart of his teachings, a man and woman when have sexual intercourse are regarded as one flesh, and even further are referred to as one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). Jesus in setting up his kingdom, the church, reaffirms, reestablishes let not man put asunder (separate), the permanence of marriage in the spiritual law as at the beginning in Genesis, the vital principle, law of the spirit (mental disposition) forevermore, which super seeds, transcends Moses law that came later. Jesus dissolves Moses command that allowed to put away woman for most causes, which consequently dissolves also the further command of Moses (created solely due to the first command of Moses allowing to put away) if a husband puts away his woman, the husband wasn't allowed to later return to her. If it wasn't for the first command of Moses created, there would be no second command of Moses. The purpose for the second command of Moses was to hold back the many harden hearts of Israel, to keep them from putting away, for if they did put away they were forbidden to return to her. Deuteronomy 24:1 When a
man hath
taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no
favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then
let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and
send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house,
she may go and be another man's wife.
Deuteronomy 24:3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. Consequently reconciliation (since the two commands of Moses are dissolved) or further explained by Jesus living as a spiritual eunuch towards other woman, are the only two options remains, affirmed in Jesus' Kingdom, the church. How does a husband
indirectly
commit adultery?
We must understand Jesus' spirit (mind set, mental disposition). Jesus' mental disposition is a husband and wife both are forever seen as one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse) since defined in Genesis. Placing yourself in Jesus' times, mind set, mental disposition, spirit is key, necessary to discern why a husband can indirectly commit adultery. Leviticus 18:8 The
nakedness of
thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
Matt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh (sexual intercourse)? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder (separate). Imagine, if you were a husband lived 2,000 years ago or just 100 years ago, and dismissed your wife not for fornication. She having none or very limited ways of providing for herself. No welfare in their day, with exception of some limited laws to allow the famished to be fed. She marries another, knowing she would have food, clothing and shelter. Jesus is saying you her husband committed adultery, without even the act of committing it yourself directly. For when your wife commits adultery with this unlawful new husband, your woman one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse, as if your right hand), you being her true husband (the arm the hand is attached too) have partake indirectly in her adulterous act. Because you the arm, forced, cause the adultery in your right hand (one flesh, woman). Imagine the arm puts the hand into the burning flame, then as if the arm could talk, say to the hand, I’m only a bystander, I’m innocent of you committing the act of burning in the fire.
Time lapse of 2,000 years, today not as aware a husband and wife being
regarded as one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse), today
woman's plight if on her own is not as dire as was 2,000 years ago
making it more difficult to discern Jesus' mental disposition, combined
with especially the mistranslation of the word "not" to the word
"except" creates a false opposite inference.
Notice in the King James version and modern day versions, they use the word "except", a mistranslation which creates a false inference. King James translation: 19:9 And I say unto you,
Whosoever shall put away his wife, except

be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery:
You would find it translated more correctly in the Darby translation and even more in the Greek interlinear translation by Alfred Marshall. The Darby's translation has the word "shall", which is also an addition, the Greek interlinear is the truest translation of the verse. Matt 19:9 But I say unto

The actual word is “not” taken from a more direct translation of Greek. In error changing the word "not" to "except", makes for a distorted observation, mistakenly inferring that Jesus is stating the situation of two actions if taken, ending in the result committing adultery, people jump to a false opposite inference, afforded by the mistranslated word except if dismisses for fornication and marries another the end result is favorable, not committing adultery. Correct translation "not" In the Greek manuscripts,
the
Greek word used is (mh) means simply “not”. A negative, not meaning an
exception.

You tell your children. Whoever goes to the store not for food and buys candy, will be grounded. Your an owner of a business. Whoever uses the phones not for customers and phones friends, will be fired. In each of these examples not for food or not for customers, are causes not allowed, and buys candy, phones friends are both actions not allowed. The causes are forbidden, remains is to only buy food or only phone customers. If you buy food or phone customers, don’t allow you then to buy candy and phone friends. The child when buys food, cannot think because food is bought is then allowed to buy candy, buying candy is forbidden. The employee phones a customer, cannot think because a customer is phoned is then allowed to call a friend to talk about life, primary talking to friends is forbidden. Jesus proclamation is speaking only of husbands “dismisses the woman of him not for fornication” due to the dire plight a wife in Jesus' times are causes not allowed, and “marries another” is the action not allowed. The forbidden causes taken by itself, due to the dire plight of a wife in Jesus' times, the husband commits indirectly adultery. The forbidden action marries another taken by itself or combined, commits directly adultery. What remains is an allowance to put away for fornication, purpose is for some relief of the innocent husband and cause turmoil on the guilty woman to repent (remorseful turning away from their sin), the forbidden action marries another, can't be added, is a forbidden action to the husband. Note: There is a situation concerning supposedly a marriage, that isn't a marriage after all, in God's eyes (God's command), explained earlier in part one of the discourse and explained further in the discourse. Jesus did not address this straight on, due to it wasn't a major issue in the more highly moral structured society among the Jews, but is a major issue in our times. The issue Jesus address was the dire plight of wives in his times.
The disciple's reply as to the remaining allowed cause, between a
husband and wife, says its more expedient (profitable) not to marry.
Meaning the husband if he dismisses his wife for the allowable cause
for fornication, it's
more profitable not to marry another. The
disciples knowing the spirit (intent, mental disposition) in which
Jesus spoke. Used the single word cause, to reference the only cause
left, for fornication and only had to say marry, to reference the
forbidden action marries another. Why the disciples perhaps
timid,
saying things in a condensed way, their afraid because the world around
them, coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan, more gentile influence where they
would marry another and the Pharisees in their mist, these were harden
hearts, that would defy the spiritual law at the beginning, that Jesus
restored, reaffirmed. The disciples and Jesus being so close, spoke to
one another in a condense use of words at times, knowing each other's
thoughts, from previous conversations.

Expedient
meaning profitable, notice the apostles use the same word Jesus used in
the previous
verses to Matt 5:31-32, about committing adultery, it is more
profitable (Strong’s 4851) to spiritually cut your hand off, or
spiritually pluck your eye out then to commit adultery, to be cast into
hell. This will tie into Jesus' next statement concerning spiritual
eunuchs.

Jesus continues to explain how all men cannot receive this saying, but for those husbands for the sake of the Kingdom of heaven (the church), will become as spiritual eunuchs toward their woman who they put away for fornication, these men will not marry (another).Jesus
replies Matt 19:11-12 11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive
this saying, save they to whom it is given. 12 For there are
some
eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are
some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs,
which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He
that is able to receive it let him receive it.
Some
today will have a very hard time perceiving, because of
Jesus and a few of
the
Apostles didn't
marry, combined with especially men later developed an unauthorized
priesthood, who
swore not to marry. A select group, priest to rule over congregations,
had no biblical directive
from Christ and his apostles in the new testament, is an apostasy,
great abhorrence directly
against Jesus command to “swear not at all”. The
priesthood of the old testament, was the only literal priesthood (small
select
group) authorized by God to be formed, came into being, the priest
married and the high priest was commanded to marry only a virgin.

The use of Jesus words concerning spiritual eunuchs, was to show the delicate nature of how the original intent of God's will and spirit was for a man and woman, to be one flesh, same flesh since sexual intercourse, to remain together, or if separated, not to marry (another), the husband become a spiritual eunuch. Not to develop in later years an apostasy, great abhorrence creating an unauthorized priesthood, and then having them think they are to be spiritual eunuchs by of all things swearing. Directly against Jesus’ primary spiritual law to "swear not at all". Under the new testament parameters, directives of the apostles, all members of the church were referred to as a (spiritual) royal priesthood. I

Many have looked at Matt 19:9 having particularly

not grasped what Jesus was
saying, many have jump to false notions and ran with marrying another.
The book of Mark continues where Matthew leaves off, in Mark is written: Mark
10:10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same
matter. 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife,
and marry another, committeth adultery against heard. 16 And if a woman
shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth
adultery.
Jesus says to his disciples, not all the disciples are as close to Jesus, that can understand what he says or perhaps they feared the Pharisees. In the house away from the Pharisees, Jesus says either husband or wife to marry another, commits adultery, further strengthening the mental disposition to his disciples about the forbidden action, is expedient (profitable) not to marry (another). There is one cause to dismiss, for fornication is allowed for husbands, which allows some relief of the innocent husband. Also puts hardship on the guilty woman to be shunned, to cause true repentance but the innocent husband cannot add the marry another cause. The innocent husband must remain unmarried or if the innocent party pleases, reconcile, upon repentance of the guilty woman. Jesus never once, nor any example or writer in the New Testament, directly, forthright says one can marry another, if the other commits adultery. Jesus says because of the hardness of men's hearts, Moses allowed the harden heart men of Israel to put away their wives whom many of these woman had to remarry to survive, but this Jesus points out was not at the beginning. Jesus reaffirms this principle; "made them at the beginning made them male and female" “they twain (two) shall be one flesh (sexual intercourse)? Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse). Therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder (separate)". Matt

Jesus had allowed a
husband to put away his woman, if she commits fornication, defined as
commits adultery, commits prostitution, commits insist, or commits
homosexuality. However the husband isn't allowed to marry another, the
primary cause marries another can't be added, is forbidden.
Many in error have discern Matt 19:9 Jesus is describing a situation,
KJV translators changed the word "not" to "except", base on this
mistranslation that the opposite, an inference only to
support a theology of remarriage, where no place in the New Testament
says directly, forthright you can marry another. Will you base your
life
on an inference which there is a clear mistranslation in the verse,
knowing no where in the new testament it ever says directly, forthright
remarriage is allowed?
Or
One will discern Matt 19:9 that Jesus is pointing out causes, because
it was ask him for every cause? Causes forbidden, not of
fornication (due to the dire plight woman in biblical times would make
them
commit adultery), many there in, too numerous to imagine and the action
marries another, as forbidden, husbands
commit adultery indirectly or directly.

Some have used Matt 19:9 not only in error, thinking a man can marry
(another), as if its also speaking to woman are allowed to marry
(another). This is the extent of error many have run to, not
understanding matt 19:9 was speaking specifically about husbands,
indirectly committing adultery by forcing his (one flesh) wife into
adultery, due to her dire situation.
The verses that speak specifically to woman are Matt 5:32 (ending only), Roms 7:1-3 and ICorinthians 7:10:11 :
I Corinthians 7:10 commands a married woman not to separate, however allows to let a woman, some woman had the means to be separated in biblical times, not having to remarry, for food, shelter, clothing. Would be understandable this allowance is made for not only fornication, but also violence and other causes not just for fornication. However its commanded she must remain unmarried (not joined to another) and the husband must not leave her (marry another). The husband can care for him self, not having to be force to marry another for food, shelter and clothing, compared to many woman would not be able to feed, shelter and cloth herself in Jesus’ times. Here is an example of the above doctine shown in action: Widows, described as the “woman of one man”. The words “having been “ are added by the translators, however the direct translation only describes her state “woman of one man“, or in a more direct Greek translation “one man woman”. Even though her man has died she is described as her state “woman of one man”. I have removed the words “having been” because their not original to the text.
Paul writes God calls us to peace, not in bondage (enslaved) to the
mental disposition of unpeaceful means, trying to create
a
commotion in three situations:
Bondage

The believer is commanded not to be in bondage (enslaved) to unpeaceful means, creating a commotion by leaving the unbeliever or not letting the unbeliever depart, as to force, compel the unbeliever to be saved. I
Corinthians 7:12-17 12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord:
Paul is saying when it comes to the salvation of your unbelieving
marriage partner, you are to be at peace. Paul is
not saying these two are then unbound (as if free from a yoke of
marriage), free to marry
another, if the unbeliever leaves. Paul is only saying, to the
believer,
peace is what we are called to. Paul uses the particular word bondage
(slavery, a word never used to describe concerning marriage) rather
Paul
is describing the state of mind, slavery in the mind, to the mental
disposition of unpeaceful means in such:

Corinthians 7:18: Is any man
called
being circumcised? let
him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him
not be circumcised. 19: Circumcision is nothing, and
uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 20:
Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21:
Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be
made free, use it rather. 22: For he that is called in the
Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is
called, being free, is Christ's servant. 23: Ye are bought with
a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24: Brethren, let every
man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
I have recently reevaluated Corinthians 7: 25 -27, and came to a slightly different conclusion but similar results, that makes more sense, with the available words that been used by Paul.
I
Corinthians 7:25: Now
concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my
judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. 26:
I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say,
that it is good for a man so to be. 27: Art thou bound unto a
wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a
wife. 28: But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a
virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble
in the flesh: but I spare you. 29: But this I say, brethren,
the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as
though they had none; 30: And they that weep, as though they
wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they
that buy, as though they possessed not; 31: And they that use
this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth
away. 32: But I would have you without carefulness. He that is
unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may
please the Lord: 33: But he that is married careth for the
things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 34:
There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried
woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in
body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of
the world, how she may please her husband.
The next verses, looking at some nine translations,
is for the first time I notice in the bible having variations. Due
mainly to older manuscripts, the
oldest manuscript the Alexandrian in
4th century, compared to later manuscripts Byzantine Majority from 9th century.
I will be using the
older manuscripts translation. I suspect
the later manuscripts of the
Byzantine Majority, in their infancy were altered in the surrounding
verses, combined perhaps the translators of some versions of
the bible using these later manuscripts had further interpreted some of
their society's values in the text.
I
Corinthians 7:35: And
this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you,
but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord
without distraction. 36: But if any man think that he behaveth
himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age,
and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them
marry.
I Corinthians 7:37: Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. From looking at the various translations, and greek resources, notice some wide apart variations. I am not certain this is the proper translation, but at best a consideration. I'm using my greek interlinear by Alfred Marshall as also a resource. I
Corinthians 7:38: So
the both (man and woman in the first situation above) marrying, himself
a virgin does well, and the man not marrying, does better.
Consider this is the ending of the discourse of Paul which he started to speak specifically about virgin men, due to the distress of persecution upon the early church, it would be the finale exhortation to point directly in words to the man particularly a virgin, if marries has not sinned, does well, and if he don't marry does better. I
Corinthians 739 A wife has been bound for so long a time as lives the
husband of her; but if sleeps (dies) the husband, free she is to whom
she wishes to be married only in the lord.
The key to understanding the selection of elders, is awareness of the
early biblical history and Jesus teachings:
These mental dispositions, the moment marriage occurs and permanence
of marriage were in the minds of people before, during and especially
after Jesus arrival. For Jesus reaffirmed them through his teachings.
Notice the guidelines for selecting elders and deacons, the
heading of both discourses of Paul, is to be “blameless, without
reproach”. So they will not bring blame, reproach upon the church. The
very first stipulation concerning being blameless, without reproach,
being most elderly
were married if not all in the congregations in Paul's
day, is “the man of one
woman”.
Reminder:
The words man or woman was used sometimes with the sense, usage of
having marriage status or other usage, not particularly marriage
status. However there was no word used in biblical times such as
husband or wife, specifying marriage status within these words alone.
Husband or wife, are words that were created many centuries after the
bible was written. I have taken the liberty afforded, to replace the
words “husband and wife” with the actual translation of the words “man
and woman”

The background of this era, was most if not all elderly men were
married in the congregations, was even a exhortation to marry from
Paul, in his letter everyone should have his own wife.

Corinthians 7:1 Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is

each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own
husband.
However Paul also wrote if a virgin man or female don't marry, due
mainly to the
distress that is upon them (the persecution of the church in Paul's
day), they are also bless to be able to give all his attention to
pleasing God. Where if he was married he would also have to be
concern with pleasing his woman.
Paul in writing the standards in selecting elders and deacons was continuing the mental disposition when a marriage occurs and permanence of marriage from the beginning of Creation, inscribed in Moses law and restored, affirmed in Jesus’ teachings. Paul in the words “man of one woman” was describing in words to the effect, the culmination of a doctrine of marriage when marriage occurs and permanence of marriage. The stipulation “man of one woman” was not only for elders and deacons but for the whole church all members unmarried and married, were to show greatest respect having the mental disposition dwelling in them, while even unmarried, “man of one woman”. Paul, I sense his spirit, mental disposition was not exclude the very few if any unmarried and without children elderly men from the position of eldership or deaconship. Instead he was directing guidelines, based upon the circumstance in his day, most if not all elderly were married men, had children. A few thoughts to consider:
I sense the intent, spirit, mental disposition, when
marriage occurs and permanence of marriage, was the real focus of
Paul's writings in
the words “man of one woman” whom most if not all
were married, in the selection of elders and deacons.
I have had the mental disposition “man of one woman” dwelling in me for now 28 years, since I was 12 years old, though I am not married. Is this the real intent, spirit (mental disposition) of Paul's words “man of one woman” in the elderly men selected for elders and deacons? Widows, described as the “woman of one man”. Written by Paul, notice immediately after the topic of selecting elders
and deacon, being blameless “man of one woman”. Paul immediately
following wrote, seducing spirits will arise and doctrines of demons,
through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded with their own
conscience as with hot iron forbidding to marry and abstain from meats.
This is a prophecy of the future coming of Catholics in 312 A.D. who
forbid elders (overseers, Catholics prefer the word bishops instead of
elders, a Latin translation) and priest to marry, when none other then
Paul the Apostle wrote elders being blameless, most if not all elderly
were married, being a “man of one woman”, were selected to be elders
(bishops). Another prophecy of the future coming of Catholics, men will
command to abstain from meats. Catholics call it a sin if you eat meat
on particular days. These are the some of the most precise prophecies
in the bible, from the apostle Paul, concerning men that will fall away
from the faith (God's persuasion), describing in conjunction two
doctrines of demons that Catholics teach.

It is very ironic there are Catholics who are the complete opposite,
strange how they conclude its only single men can oversee and be
spiritual enough to be in position of overseer, priest. History shows
why they later kept their scriptural unauthorized priest
from marrying, partly a reason:

mere tradition, conjured up doctrine of man.
Contrary the biblical
teaching from the beginning of creation, Moses law and Jesus' command,
the moment of one flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse marriage
begins) let not man separate. The primary teaching of Jesus'
command to "swear not at all".
Many religious people have followed the logic “let us do evil that good
may come”, when they go directly against Jesus command "swear not at
all",
when they apply swearing in their many religious ceremonies or even

Paul writes: Romans 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously

Using the name of God, church, etc., cloaking it as a vow, but matching a description of an oath in the bible, between two individuals in a marriage ceremony was developed centuries after the bible was written. A heresy from both old testament teachings and old Roman pagan religion, had merge together, establish a priest system, a member of this self righteous without biblical authority, small ruling centralized group, had violated Jesus elementary teaching "swear not at all", by swearing never to marry. Beginning in 312 A.D. emperors of the Roman empire exchange one state religion for another state religion, chosen this popular sect, heresy of Christianity at the time and further reformed it to their own taste, to benefit the state. Through pope priest craft proclaimed another moment when marriage occurs, only when a priest is present and having to swear by God, church , etc., referred to a vow, but with the matching description of an oath in the bible. Against Jesus’ commandment to swear not at all and made void Jesus' marriage proclamation.
Emperors and most kings having their state religions are gone now, due
to the separatist, preservation spirit of the original church left to
us by the Apostles. Leaving standards within the NT to elect elders of,
by and for only self rule within independent congregations to guide and
lead, striving to stay within the boundaries set by Christ and his
apostles. America was able by the sacrifice of a few and the growing
spirit of the congregational self rule religious natured people, slowly
loosen the shackles and bindings of the old world's fear, subjugation
to a state religion, emperor, king and pope. Giving liberty, freedom to
all of
religious conscious.

Vows (actually oaths)
in effect have
destroyed numerous
marriages that happen unknowingly to others,
when two particularly virgins a male and female, have mutual consented
to sexual intercourse. When in Jesus’ day were found out, they by the
Law of Moses and Jesus teachings would have been kept together for a
lifetime as married of God. Are instead today sent separate ways to
marry another. Committing now biblical defined fornication (broad way
of saying adultery, prostitution, incest, homosexuality and bestiality)
particularly adultery.
Jesus reaffirms, commands the part of Moses Law pertaining to one flesh
(sexual intercourse), one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse)
let not man separate, for every generation then forward. When followed
would keep these marriages together for a lifetime.
After 2,000 years, today our society is not as highly morally structured. Since the 1500's to the end of the 1800's compulsory government primary schooling up until the ages of 13, 14 slowly grew, then began from the late 1800's to today, government compulsory secondary schooling during a woman's age of 14, 15, 16, and beyond to 18 years old, to further acceptance of third level schooling, compelled many woman in careers over mother hood, created a prolong time span to begin marriages in late teens, mid twenties, and even thirties. Where sexual fulfillment, other wise fulfilled by youthful marriages in centuries past, was prolonged, in combination since the 1960's many more woman and men congregated in large institutions of the state, colleges and universities, were taught a state human behavior group's philosophy, instilling an anti christian mental disposition and psychology to substitute the christian morality mental disposition. Both philosophy and psychology had not recognized one flesh, even when unknowing to others is when marriage in God's eye's occurs, encouraged free love, one night stands with no consequences, no obligations, birth control, many into sexual activity to occur unknowingly to others, then to walk away from one another, killing their babies. This mental disposition encourage at the state universities through state philosophy and state psychology human behavior programing, funded by trillions of tax dollars, went with the millions of students like an invading army of darkness back home, practicing and teaching the concepts, filtered down into the general population, having the greatest dire effect among young woman and men in their mid teens and younger, when they became one flesh unknowingly to others, killed many more babies, walked away from one another. When in 1973 pressured by the mounting chaos in society, began by state philosophy and state psychology human behavior programing, unconstitutionally funded by trillions of tax dollars, the supreme court gave legal permission for killing babies. The one flesh unions, were marriages in God's eyes which had been the case for thousands of years by God's word, Moses law, Jesus' law in his spiritual kingdom forevermore, and not so distant decades before were recognized much more in the heartland of america by christian moral duty, obligation, shot gun weddings. Instead recently many of these youthful marriages in God's eyes, through state philosophy and state psychology human behavior programing, unconstitutionally funded by trillions of tax dollars, were encourage to separate, which brings a great curse upon the land. Many have left their youthful lifetime marriage in God's eyes, repeating to themselves philosophers of old, it's merely sex, nothing, a one night stand, are now taken someone else, surrounded it with man's conjured up signs, such as oaths, swearing (which is forbidden by Jesus), and the formalities of government to recognize it as a marriage among men's eyes, are instead living in adultery in God's eyes. They must repent, leave the false marriage, adultery or else be condemned by God, the woman remain unmarried and the man to live as a spiritual enuch or reconcile, return to the lifetime marriage of their youth. Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman (someone's wife) to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Today's generation and generations in the future are being deceived by
religious leaders, in thinking when a man and woman particularly being
virgins, when become one flesh (sexual intercourse) unknowingly to
others, are told to walk away from one another. Instead of surely
remaining in their lifetime marriages, surely performing the
formalities of the law of the land as in the bible commanded. Many in
the churches are telling them that they were not bound, not married,
and saying things like their forgiven of their sin. Which a man and
woman particularly being virgins, when became one flesh (sexual
intercourse), is not a sin, never referred or called a sin by God but
instead were forced in the bible to
remain together.
But they believe the lie, its a sin and are persuaded by even religious leaders its a sin. If this don't work, then they tell them that since they became saved, they are a new creation, free from their past. But this is another lie, for because to the saved, never was written salvation dissolved marriages, if this was so, all saved married people upon salvation could marry another. Mark
7: 6 Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This
people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. 7
But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the
precepts of men. 8 Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the
tradition of men. 13 making void the word of God by your tradition,
which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.
Today especially teenagers and in their twenties being virgins, become
one flesh (sexual intercourse), unknowingly to others, when found out,
are separated. Even so far as calling the one flesh (sexual
intercourse), sin, fornication, which never in the bible the word
fornication defined this situation. Believing a lie, thinking marrying
occurs at the moment of a vow, swearing which Jesus says "is of the
EVIL", has permeated society and many in religion. These lifetime
marriages are separated, the many babies conceived are then aborted,
murdered, 47,000,000 (1/6 the population of the USA) and counting, and
then many take another who isn't their life marriage, which becomes the
evil (living in adultery)
For
thousands of years, woman
married at a young
age, many in their mid teens (14,15,16), late teens and recognized one
flesh is when marriage occurs. So
Jesus didn't have to address
straight on, the
case if a
husband found
out his wife had while yet unmarried, while a virgin became
one flesh with
another virgin man, ect. This wasn't an issue in Jesus times in the
more highly moral structured society, instead the issue was the dire
plight of wives, Jesus addressed.
As for the more rare case if a husband found out his wife had while yet unmarried, she while a virgin became one flesh with another virgin man, was more rare in the highly moral structure society, a young woman's virginity was carefully guarded by her parents, but if in a case she and a man became one flesh unknowingly to others, was found out, they were forced by the spiritual teaching of God in Genesis, then the Law of Moses to have it recognized they were married and cannot separate, and Jesus' reaffirmed commanded "one flesh, let not man separate", this would be the course must be followed. The first joining of the flesh, even though it was unknown to others, is the marriage in God's eyes and must be restored. The second man she became one flesh with, thinking he was married to her, was never married to her in God's eyes (God's command), is free to marry, find his own wife. The same command if the roles were reverse, a woman found out her husband had while yet unmarried, became one flesh while a virgin with another virgin woman. The first joining of the flesh, even if unknowing to others, is the marriage in God's eyes (God's command), must be restored.
Perhaps very little can be done for this generation, Jesus said for an
adulterous nation seek after signs, many will not repent, return to
their true lifetime marriage partner. A
scriptural marriage last a lifetime, this must be understood. One
should read this whole book
slowly, repeatedly, and ponder on it for some time and pray to God.
One should consider the disease of AIDS one would need to know their sexual history of their partner, or partners. Similarly a man and woman must put forth an honest effort, must begin with the earliest partner, where information can be trusted of their partner or partners, this will determine if there may of been a marriage according to God's word, when became one flesh (sexual intercourse). If a marriage, then one should surely seek to restore, reconcile that marriage. If the earliest partner with another person, there is evidence of there already was a marriage according to God's word, before your encounter becoming one flesh (sexual intercourse), then no marriage could of been formed with this partner. Each partner in your history must be carefully studied, their sexual history, beginning with the earliest, if along the way one proves to be married to you according to God's word, the earliest one will be the marriage that must be reconciled, any other sexual history afterwards with others would be adultery and one needs to repent. If all proved to be married to someone else, before your encounter of one flesh (sexual intercourse) with them, these would be adultery, which is a sin, not a marriage, which needs repentance, forgiveness from God, and is free to marry, to seek one's own husband or wife. If your honest, sincere, you will seek to stay within his spiritual laws stated "at the beginning" by Jesus. What ever the situation people find themselves, only sincerity, honesty, love, and careful considering of all the facts, to find the answers. People will never know with certainly, the real past of others, some will with certainly, everyone must discern this for their own selves with all honestly, and act accordingly. When we all stand before God, we will have to give an accounting.
Where
a law of the land makes void a law of Christ, we obey Christ. The law
of the land is there for civil order and peace, is commendable,
honorable but
when the particular law or particular laws violate the order of
Christ commanded in his kingdom, the church, then we are to obey Christ.
Since the foundation of the United States of America, allowed people to affirm instead of swearing, oaths. Example:
Franklin Pierce, became the 14th president of the United States,
Friday, March 4, 1853, had “affirm” rather then “swear” the executive
oath of office
Christians are commanded to obey
formalities of government concerning marriage. However when found out
first occurs a virgin man and virgin woman became
one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse) without the fulfilling
the formalities
of the law, we must recognize them as bound for a lifetime, married
according to Jesus cites the universal spiritual law at the beginning,
which outranks, overrides any law made by civil or religious body.
As Christians we encourage, persuade, demand this already married
couple according to
God's word to also obey civil government.
To have them obey the formalities of the civil government.
Romans
13:1-6 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is
no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of
God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For
rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then
not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have
praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good.
But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the
sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute
wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject,
not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause
pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending
continually upon this very thing.
Titus :1 Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready unto every good work, 2 to speak evil of no man, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men.
Possible stumbling blocks, Apostle Paul kept the observance of a vow.
With the available evidence or lack of any other mention of vows, the
best analysis is he taken the vow before he found Christ. Paul still
saw himself obligated to its yearly ritual he vowed to God to act out.
Paul didn't order Christians to make vows or oaths, to swear so as not
to make void Jesus words, “swear not at all”. Jesus says swearing, is
of
the evil.
One other
circumstance Paul's way of converting he would try to look the part of
his audience, so as not to alienate them to the point they immediately
dismissed him. When he visited Jerusalem, many Jews had turn to Christ,
but among them followed zealously the old law rituals. Even so far as
making vows. So not to alienate these men, Paul tried to look the part
of still following the old law rituals. By at least acting out the
purifying ritual with four who had taken a vow. So he could at least be
given an audience and reason with them, that they are free from the old
law rituals and now under a new perfect law of liberty. When he entered
the temple, some Jews (not turned to Christ) attacked him, seek to kill
him. It was stopped by a roman guard alerted to the riot.
A mutual consent public
profession, during a feast, often referred to as a marriage, combined
with words of love and commitment, (without
using the name God, church,
etc.),
is not a biblically
defined oath or vow, is biblically allowable. Which many marriage
feast,
celebrations have only a mutual consent public profession combined
with words of love and commitment, without
swearing,
even so
their not married in God's eyes, until they become one flesh (mutual
consenting sexual intercourse).
When includes swearing to each other by God, church, etc., to bind his or her soul with a bond, becomes a biblically defined oath, forbidden by Jesus' words, Jesus says is of the evil. There is no need for this additional bond, oath, because once joined in the flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse), they are forever bound by God's word established since the beginning of creation and reaffirmed by Jesus' word "let not man separate". What has happen is through the centuries man leaning on his own understanding devised the additional bond, oath taken in a marriage ceremony, made void the Holy Spirit (undefiled mental disposition of God) recognizing, the joining of the flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse) is itself the bond, bound by God's word that is to be upheld. Even when occurred one flesh (mutual consented sexual intercourse) unknowingly to men. Either formality of proceedings without swearing, with swearing, or without a public profession, with a public profession, marriage occurs only in God's eyes when “they twain shall be one flesh (mutual consenting sexual intercourse)” let not man separate.
Jesus when speaking in Matt 5:32 and Matt 19:9 is speaking locally, on
the ground that existed in society at the time, which was the dire
plight of
the vast majority of woman, due to they had limited rights, protection
and limited skills then motherhood to providing for themselves, food,
clothing, and shelter. When put away from their husbands, a vast
majority were made to commit adultery, in remarrying, for food, shelter
and clothing. Jesus said further these husbands commits adultery
indirectly themselves, in forcing his one flesh (same flesh since
sexual intercourse), his woman in adultery.
Today locally, on the ground, exists in society (except in some third world countries and some other circumstances) much different in many regards then Jesus' day. A vast majority of woman today if were put away, have many opportunities to feed, shelter and cloth themselves, not having to commit adultery, by remarrying. So today men wouldn't necessarily cause their woman to commit adultery as in the days of Jesus, if simply a woman is put away for any cause, she can remain unmarried, working to feed, shelter and cloth herself, not made to commit adultery. So what remains, if the man separates from his woman? He must also remain unmarried or reconcile same as for woman who separates from her man. The church should let not separate, but if either one separates they must remain unmarried or reconcile. While separate, temptation can easily come about, causing one to commit adultery, if not repented (turn from the sin) to be cast into hell.
If I put away for fornication can I marry (another)? Many look at the
world around them and conclude yes, because they think
if they were in such a situation, the likelihood of their partner
repenting today,
returning, reconciling, is very slim at best. Due to this they assume
God must allow people to remarry in such a circumstance, thinking God
must be understanding of the situation. I find this reasoning even
among real Christians thinking this, and many so name only Christians.
This way of reasoning is based on rational of today's times, age,
a short segment of time, allowing the society to dictate above that
which is of God to hold
accountable.
Notice the dire situation Jesus cited of a woman put away not for fornication, she can't feed, shelter and clothed herself. Jesus commands whoever marries her commits adultery. If this dire situation, she is not allowed to marry, how can the dire situation, much less dire, a man if his wife commits adultery, can not only put her away, but also as some think can marry (another)? At least he can feed, shelter, and cloth himself, is he then allowed to marry (another) when his dire situation is much less?
The older generation who married in the 1950's and before, they are
somewhat more immune to condemnation from God. Due to many since a
virgin, when became one flesh (sexual intercourse), remained
together for a lifetime. When especially there wasn't birth control
pills, abortion was unlawful, and when many more young Americans did
not congregate in the 1960's in large institutions of the state,
colleges and
universities, where free love, one night stands with
no consequences, no obligations, promoting birth control, they walked
away from one another,
killing their many babies.
The 1950's and before when a man and woman being virgins, became one flesh (sexual intercourse), unknowingly to others, would of been more often had a shot gun wedding. To remain together, legalizing them, some due to pregnancy and some due to keeping to the biblical understanding when is a marriage. Whereas Moses governs recognizing these as marriages, and enforced them by law, he shall surely endow her to be his woman; he may not put her away all his days. Whereas Jesus restores "made them at the beginning made them male and female" “they twain (two) shall be one flesh (sexual intercourse)? Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh (same flesh since sexual intercourse) Therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder (separate)".. This issue can't be left up solely to government. The people's minds must change toward when the two virgins male and female, became one flesh (sexual intercourse), society from churches, to communities, to parents, to individuals, need to all recognized them as married for a lifetime. Encouraging, demanding the formalities of the law be fulfilled, duties toward his woman are met and he may not put her away all his days. This
